Refund Policy

If your auditor rejects the kit, we refund you in full.

We sell you a policy kit on the promise that it will pass an auditor's review. If it doesn't, you shouldn't pay for it. That's the whole deal.

How a refund works

If your SOC 2 auditor rejects the kit we delivered — the documents themselves, not a procedural or evidence-related finding about how your company operates — we refund the full $997.

To request a refund, email rob@policydone.io with:

We process refunds within five business days of receiving the auditor's written confirmation. Refunds return to the original payment method via Stripe.

Why we ask for written confirmation

Two reasons. First, it keeps us honest — if a document is failing audits, we want to know exactly what failed so we can fix the template for every future customer. Second, it keeps the bar clear: "my auditor rejected it" is the objective standard, not a subjective feeling that the kit wasn't what you expected.

Timeline

Refund requests must be made within 90 days of delivery. After 90 days, standard no-refund terms apply.

Chargebacks

Please email us before filing a chargeback. We've never declined a legitimate refund; we'd rather fix an issue with you directly than through your card issuer.
